We are at the stage of colours for walls, floors and ceilings, type of lights, cooker canopies etc, etc.
The village hall is nearing completion and there is forward progress on the new ferry terminal. All in all lots happening. Raasay also has its usual influx of visitors and returning locals and families, which is always welcome and adds to the vibrancy of the island.
We ran a course for one of our school groups out of the youth hostel here on Raasay "Back to Basics". Followed the ethos of Youth Hostelling as it used to be! Woolly Hats and Tackity Boots were a pre-requisite of all attendees! Thoroughly enjoyed by all involved I think.
We are running a summer programme of various activities at Cliftonhall School in Edinburgh and then we are back at Comrie for some more groups through September. We have a course for University students here on Raasay. Their studies are building industry related so we will have to see if we are able to employ them in something at the house.

Summer has just flown by and hopefully you are all enjoying it despite the changeable weather.
Hope you also enjoyed seeing the progress that the contractors are making and we look forward to welcoming you all back to the house.
